It seems a lot of people around here don't have a clue as to how anything actually gets manufactured. They also apear to think that no other car manufacturer ever has any production problems.
I used to work in the machine tool business and I've been in MANY manufacturing plants including GM, Ford & Chrysler.
Every plant of every company that manufactures anything in volume has problems and issues on a daily basis. It's part of the business.
Anyways, yes, we are still building Mustang GT's and I haven't heard of any problems with the motor, we have stopped production a couple of times in the last month but for no more than one day and then had the issue resolved(vendors).
This was posted on Brad's site by a AAI production line worker who is on the '05 Stang final assembly line. He should know what's running down the line.
Sounds like the BON story was a bit exaggarted, if not completly false. Robert Lane & his BON has lost whatever small amount of credibilitythey had.
