Switch from AOD to C4

I have a AOD in my 1993 lx 5.0 and cant stand it. I want to switch to a c4 and was wondering how hard this swap would be. Anyone running a c4 in a Stang originally equipped with a AOD? Tell me about your experience.

If you run a big bell C4 164 tooth you can keep your existing flexplate, I had to find a shifter and move tranny mount forward a bit. Other than that it is fairly straight forward. The B&M Hammer shifter is made to fit in the factory console and actually looks fairly stock. I also went with a 2,500 stall. For the money the TCI units are pretty good pieces, you will also want an aftermarket tranny cooler.
