tach help

I have a '87 Mustang GT. I got a auto gage tach for it. I was told i need a tach adapter for it because i have a 6AL MSD Box. the tach is hooked in the MSD box not my coil. So do i need a tach adapter or not. It reads a little higher then the stock tach.

I don't think so. Mine is hooked the same way. No problem.

yea you just hook it to your msd box my tach is the same way,
