Terrible gas milage.. from what?

Hey i used to get about a good 200+ miles off of 20 bucks, then all of i sudden im barley getting 100+ off 20 bucks too, i havent made any changes that might of caused this.. i dont know whats up, anyone got an idea?

Maybe the price of gas? You should go by gallons not the price cause it flucuates too much. I used to put $49 in to fill up my van now it's $54-55.

So have you figured the actual MPG your getting? How much is gas where you live? I have heard alot of poeple say that they get 28-30 mpg in their 2.3's but I only average 21.5, and my car runs like a top and doesnt have any codes etc. Thats just at 300 miles per tank if I run it pretty much dry. and it takes about $25 to fill it at $1.90/gal.

gas prices havent changed much, im just going to get the car a tune up and that should fix it im hopin.

Check the hose that goes from the exhaust manifold to the egr.. if it's cracked,broken or if it got any leaks..

its not there, i have a cai, when i made it, i removed the hose, your talkin about the fat hose right? or one of the lil skinny ones...
