Basicly Im changing my head-unit from the A to an S and Ive got a set of TFS heads Im going to use. Currenty the car has an E cam but Ive got a brand new TFS stage 1 laying around. Im just curious if the gains would worth the swap. Incidentaly Im also going with an 1 5/8 LT and X over the shorties and box-pipe. Is that really going to make much difference on say 10# of boost versus the shorty?
i would actually use a f-303, my friend has it with a s-trim and it runs great. i have the e but im running turbo and dont need much of a cam
I run a stage 1 TFS in my GT. If you already have the E-cam, I probably would not bother with the swap. The duration on the TFS is long, which causes a vacuum loss on many 5.0's. The '94 and '95 cars are apparently more prone to this, as I found out. Keep the E-cam, and your brakes will function better!
ya the trickflows are more for n/a the e-303 is simular to a stage 1 while the f-303 is like the stage 2. but for a power adder i would stick to the fordracing cam.
