finally got her somewhat together, still have to do the intake and a few other goodies before she gets dropped in: jim
as a matter of fact yea...there ported and polished, dual crower springs, and a fresh valve job...oh yea and those perty 1.6 ford racing rockers(b-303 cam)
I used to work in Sandusky, at an auto parts manufacturer. Callahan Auto Parts, it almost closed down a decade ago when the Son, Tom Callahan Jr. took over after his dad died. This large chain, Zelinski Auto Parts, almost bought it out. It was a real nice place to work, very family orientated. Nice motor, be sure to let us know what kind of power it puts out.
haha you guys have like the same car lol. Thats why i do different things on mine so it looks like NOBODY elses! But both look very nice. I'm jelous of your engine. I don't get my engine till next week! Then i'll have one just like yours. By the way...you should invest in some springs
Swap in a TFS Stage 1 cam, get a decent intake and 3.73s/slicks and drive the balls off it and you'll get deep into the 12s
I guess im the only one who caught onto this. im gonna have to call on this one. lol hahah just kidding man. Tommy Boy FTMFW
and the funny part is it needs to be buffed so bad....i mean it shines but im just obsessive when it comes to a clean car
Sorry I didn't mean to butt in on your thread, I just thought it was uncanny how similar they look! My pic doesn't show it, but I have the same headers too I painted my engine with Duplicor Cast Aluminum and followed it up with clear...is that what you did? Your 306 ought to really scoot with those "P" heads and trickflow intake...What cam are you running?
i used the duplicolor aluminum also... i didnt clear mine though, looks pretty good without it...im running a motorsports b cam, should see some good numbers...
