I hear there is going to be a documentary about their designing it. It is going to be called "The Gay Car for the Mopar"! :D

Dodge must have a thing for building 4 doors. That thing looks like a sporty 300 or a magnum with a trunk instead of the hatch

    Not bad...

Flanks are nicely tightened-up, the front fascia is bold and aggressive, the lines are equally-aggressive...

I really don't think it's all that bad-looking. As for the number of doors? Don't knock it until you drive it. Besides, this is not the single largest deviation from the Chargers of old-- remember those little things back in the '80's based on the Dodge Omni? :nonono:

In case you don't recognize it, the new charger is just a sedan version of the Dodge Magnum station wagon...

Yes, the Charger is built on the LX platform, with the Magnum, 300, and 300 Estate (which will not be sold in the United States). It was, from Day 1, supposed to be the replacement for the Dodge Intrepid, which will not come back for 2005.

This is going to be there NASCAR entry also to replace the intrepid! So its going to be in competition with the new Ford 500... At least they put the HEMI in it!!

Its just a Sedan version of the Magnum wagon!! Overpriced and ugly!

Given the size of the 300C and considering dimensionally the front clip of this sucker sucker will go beyond bold and into blocky territory. And as far as the sides...the most popular Chargers had a Coke bottle flare to them this looks more like a table with a bump on the end.

    Here's a 68 Charger

    Here's a 68 Coronet

These cars are both B-bodies and have nearly identical dimensions. Just shows what good styling can do, even for a big car. DC shot themselves in the foot on this one IMO.
