I've joked about this a few times but I had the owners manual out the last night and here it is and double checked to make sure I hadn't imagined it...

So there you go... it's 6 quarts. Or 5 quarts :shrug: :crazy:

It’s somewhere between the middle of the cross hatched pattern on the dip stick and the full mark. :shrug:

Be thankful you don't have a Mark VIII oil pan and have to buy another liter on top of all that.
 
I hate to tell you, but my owners manual states 5 quarts... lol.

I put 6 in anyway.

Everyone SHOULD put 6 in regardless if Romeo (6 quarts) or Windsor (5 quarts). Since the crank isn't dipping into the oil pan like many engines do, an extra quart WILL NOT HURT the motor due to aeration.
