I just dropped my new 347 in that I recently built. I am going to get the timing set this weekend. The car will start now, but if I do not hold the gas in...it will die within 5-10 secs. Also I am running a mini battery which it seems after every initial start up it drains and has a very hard time cranking the car again...so I have to put it on the charger. Now help me out here...Is timing possibly my issue here? Is the battery possibly continuing to deplete because of the extra effort to start the car due to the fact that the timing is not properly set as of yet? Does this even sound right that this would happen? I know timing plays a big part in everything but what do you think? A little info on the combo...347 / Stg 3 ported Windsor Sr's...XE-274-hr...38 lb# injectors...80mm Pro-M...4 inch powerpipe / Lt's...and all the common **** that we do to these things.
