"The Visitors" is being remade. Its premiere was last night, was I the only one to see it? Spoiler allert!!!!!!!!!! dont look below if u hasn't seen it yet. They seemed to barrow alot from New Battle star Galactica so I am kind of disappointed in that they did not innovate at all in their story telling. Battlestar Galactica was great in that they told the story different from other shows. It now looks like BSG will be the "guide" for scifi mini series from now on ohh well at least it wasn't all bad. What do you think?
If they used a template I would expect it to be a bit better. OTOH it usually takes more than one episode for any new show to find it's footing. Overall I found it formulmatic, some of it worked and some of it didn't.
Havent seen it. I have been watching the new Star Gate Universe though and it seems to be like BSG as well. I never watched the older SG series but really dig this new one, I am hooked! Kinda want to watch the old series just cause I like the new one so much.
I saw the last 20min of V last night. They definitely revealed too much in their trailer for its debut. Overall I liked it but a bit of it was awkward. I am looking forward to next week's episode! Hopefully they will post the episodes online since i am in class during its air time
Oh! V! Yeah, I saw it last night and really liked it. Shows promise and should be pretty good. I try not to get to attached to these new shows that seem great. I stopped watching much prime time cause I loved TSCC and it was canceled. Loved BSG and it was ended. Thought Virtuosity was gonna be great and they never gave it a chance. KR was just starting to be less cheesy and getting decient yet got canceled. I had just given up. I watch House, Fringe, SGU, Dollhouse and thats about it. I hope V is here to stay cause I think it will really come into its own. I already dont like the reporter dude and the Queen lizard. I hope they still have that retarded lizzard charechter like the old series had. Huh, huh, huh. Mousy. Eat the mousy.

I though mickel fox or Lee Adama must have been really hit hard by the bad economy to play any thing in this movie then as I saw more of the reporter dude I was like "WHO TH FRACK IS THIS?" ohh well must be some no name actor so they can have fresh faces for the show. Fresh face actors FTW
BSG wasn't all bad??? That show was way too dark. I hated watching it every week (I still watched it every week). HATED IT!!! Who was going to stab who in the back, who was going to turn on everyone, who was going to cry like a baby. HATED IT!!!!! It is lame that people like all this dark stuff. Even the new Stargate series has been infected by BSG. What's wrong with having a fun show with strong well defined heroes? I liked the new V show ok though. I have to give it more than the pilot before I decide.
Not new, hes from Five Way Party. STFU I liked it cause every week there is someone from BSG on it and Helo is a main charechter. Then I started to drool over some of the outfits they have Echo in. I have gotten bored quickly with it though and I am sure by the end of the season I prolly wont watch anymore. The last couple times I DVRd it I waited almost two weeks before watching so I know I am already bored with it. Can only take that idea so far.
I like it so far. Definitely have shows that are bigger favorites, but there's much worse crap out there. Having not seen the 80's mini-series, or BSG or any of that, it was a little more interesting for me, probably. And what's wrong with Dollhouse?
They were showing the original series from the 80s on SyFy a few days before this new one came out. I have never seen the 80's series before and all I can say is....WOW....it was so cheesy, I couldn't even watch it Atleast this one is pretty decent all way around.
