A local dealership here in the bay wanted $490K for a Ford GT. I laughed at the guy an asked him if he actually sold them, and he totally lied to me and told me that they did. :rlaugh: They also wanted $97K for a Saleen Extreme...

Thats pretty big markup. A dealership around here sold one for i think 200k and it was the only one they sold. whoever bought it was letting them keep it in the showroom for some reason. Whoever bought it has to much money to buy a car then keep it at the dealer and not drive it.

Haha, maybe so, but tell me that when you're here paying $3.50 for a gallon of milk and $4.00 for a loaf of bread :notnice:

When you get closer to your arrival date here, PM me.

Well most dealers (at least around here), you pay the $150K & you pay an extra $150K to a charity. So total you pay around $300K to the dealer, and the dealer gets to pay a charity (so they can tax write it off)...
We know someone who tried to get one...they wouldn't let him pay $150k and then write his own check to a charity...

So if that's what that guy did in the add...total he technically paid $300K to buy the car, so he's selling it that way... That is a rare paint sceme though so might just be worth that.
