Thinking about some lowering springs. What's the best?

Hey guys, I'm considering some lowering springs but wanted to know perhaps what brand i should be looking at. What do you guys find to be the best? Is it okay for me to look for some used ones?

Just cut your stock springs. 3/4 coil front and rear. Its free, you'll get the ride height your looking for, and it wont effect ride quality. The cobra springs are linear rate so cutting them won't effect spring rate too much.

This is my ride with 3/4 rear and 1/2 front...could have gone a bit lower in the front

I cut mine. It is nice to lower it as much as you want. Still thinking about more in the front yet. Waiting on new wheels first though.

Would that change the handling to that of some aftermarket brands? Plus either of y'all have any before and after side pics?

mine rides the same as stock. No it is not set up for corners or anything, i drive mine daily. Just wanted it lower for looks.

Hey, I was just wondering how much of a coil you cut from your springs.

i am not sure. i know i started at a 1/2 but kept cutting little more and more till i liked it. i bet it was around 3/4 in the front and 1/2 in the rear. Doesn't take long to replace them after you do it a few times. Cut little by little so not to take too much.

I also put 30mm spacers on the rear. It brings the tires right out to the fender to match the front. It looks a million times better

Okay, thanks guys. I think I'm gonna go with 3/4 a coil front and rear.
