Yes. A carb works great at the track where you only care about full throttle performance. On the street where idle quality and driveability are a factor, EFI makes more sense.

It really depends on your situation and engine setup if it's worth it, but we have totally hijacked this thread now.

So if anyone remembers, I had an issue with a cel coming on during decel after installing a pro-m meter, but it never stored codes. Also, my extender came today. The connectors were nasty, so I spent some time cleaning them up and installed some electrical grease. I then installed the extender. In addition, I did the following:
-Smoothed the IAC holes in my BBK TB to stop whistle
-Drilled a 1/8" hole in TB blade (recommended in old corral post regarding pro-m issue)
-Applied electrical grease to maf connector and made sure they were clean (toolow91)
-Swapped MSD pill for 6400 (for extender testing)
The results, no more whistling TB, no more CEL, and no more factory rev limiter! Not sure what fixed the CEL, but don't really care either. Can't say that I can tell a hp difference from extender (didn't expect it either), but it seems to be working. I set the AFR for 13:1, no way to confirm this at moment.
