Those with GT40 setup or similar N/A, what is your fuel pressure & timing?

I have Windsor Jr. Heads (similar to gt40), Cobra Intake, e303 cam, 70mm tb, CAI, full exhaust headers etc.

Anyways im farting around with my kirban afpr and im trying to find a good pressure, found out that it was set to 40 WITH THE VACCUME LINE ON. I was getting backfiring shifting hard into 2nd at redline. I have it now at like 39 and its pretty darn good, still get the odd backfire? also sometimes it will backfire in 4th gear at like 3,000rpms? I have my timing at 14*.

So what do you run your pressure at? What about timing?

set mine to 38-39 with vacume off and plugged.

I am running 36 lbs with 16 degrees timing. 24 lbs injectors and a 255 pump. Car ran perfect during the heat of summer. no lean pops or anything

I have E7s with a basic combo, and run 40 psi, and 18 degrees of timing. The timing was played with on the dyno only, the FP was at the track!

i am running 14-15 base timing with around 39-40 #s of fuel

just got to tinker until it runs best. all cars are different

ford told me with gt-40x heads, 9:1 compression, e-303 and typhoon intake, to run 16-20*, so i run 16 with 93 octane runs great, and i don't know about you guys but i can still pull 24+ mpg on the highway

25 mpg on the highway easily, and 89 octane... was running 87 in the car at the end of the year (not racing it anymore) on 15 degrees of timing!

i also run 18degrees and 40psi fuel pressure with no backfire or popping with my b cam and gt-40x heads.
