ive replaced my throw out bearing 3 times this past summer.. i put the first one in myself along with a rebuilt T-5.. and that one was bad instantly.. the next two i took to my mechanic thinking that i just simply did something wrong, but it wouldnt take long for those to wear out.. could there be something else wrong causing the bearing to go bad, am i just having a string of bad luck, or should i just invest in an aftermarket performance type throw out bearing???

You have to heavily grease them.
:notnice: These bearings are sealed units. The only place a very light coating of grease should be is on the surface the bearing glides back and forth on. You don't want a lot of grease flyin' around in the bell housing contaminating the disk and the pressure plate surfaces.
