I have a 2002 GT and I am experiencing a loud ticking coming from the driverside head. I understand there is a TSB out there for this, but what is actually ticking? Is it a bad valve guide or something else. I am hesitant to let Ford tear my engine apart to replace the head. My last two repairs were done half a55 and I had to clean up/finish the job when I got the car home.
