TIMING ANYBODY???

Warm car up, than shut off. Pull your spout connector (1" grey clip connected to your distributor harness wiring), connect your inductive clamp from your timing gun to the #1 spark plug wire. Power your timing gun to the cars battery and start the car. Set your gun to your desired timing (8-16 degrees BTDC I run mine at 10 because of the blower and tune, a n/a setup usually runs 12 degrees and up), loosen your distributor hold down bolt and rotate the distributor until your timing mark on the balancer aligns with that of the pointer (might have to go left or right depending on what your set at already). Once aligned tighten the distributor hold down bolt, shut the car off and remember to put the spout connector back in. Also keep in mind if you advance your timing too much you can cause denotation "pinging" and damage your engine.

I also would check other areas as well with your problem, like air filter is clean, maf sensor might be dirty, bad spark plug, firing order wrong.
