I set my timing at 10 base with the spout out and checked it a day later and it was at 4 with the spout out. Any one ever had this problem? And the dist was tight it wasnt moving around.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Sometimes the outer part of the balancer slips around the inside part if the rubber layer in between is too wore out, this could affect what your timing marks are showing your light.

I don't know if that's whats wrong, just a thought.
