So as it boils down, I've been trying to find that "sweet spot" for my ignition timing. Right now I have it set at about 13-14* advanced base. I have been running strictly 93 octane fuel. My main question is does the ECM need to be reset between small 1-2* timing changes? I'm getting a little bit of hesitation at WOT for a split second, then it wakes up. I don't know if it would make a difference, but it is an almost stock '87 still with speed density. Thanks!
