timing woes..help!

    Hello, im new today and was looking for an answer to a question ..what is the best timing for a 1987 mustang gt, with an 8 psi paxton supercharger,msd ignition with boost retard?.i need to set this up and dont have the slightest clue ..:canada:

    Set the base timing to the factory 10° BTDC. That's what your EEC believes it to be, and makes changes based upon that.

    agree with above 10 degrees base timing, and since u have the msd timing retard 1.5 degrees should be a good number per lb of boost for your overall timing, assuming your running 8lbs.
