well im goin the to the track for the first time next wed. im going up there to put another stang to shame (again) because i burned him pretty bad the other nite when i raced him he said he was beatin on 99-04 gts all nite a friend called me and told me this for his car with his mods i didn't even think he had a chance (1996 GT upper intake manifold, pulies, catback, chip) went from about 0-80 and had 3 cars on him so i shut down, he insists that i must have more done to my car than mufflers and tires. ive been wanting to go to the track for awhile now, this just gives me a reason to go so why not?
the question is what should i lower my rear tires too? they are 315/35/17 BFGoodrich g-force T/A KD's....
will i be able to launch at a higher rpm because of this? i can currently luanch at 1500rpms dropping the clutch w/o any wheel spin
