I have just purchased a set of wheels for my 91 GT. They are 17X8 for the front and 17X9 for the rear. I currently have 16X7 with 225/55-16 in front with 245/50-16 in the rear. It looks like I could go with either a 235/45-17 in front with a 255/40-17 in the rear or a 245/45-17 in front with a 275/40-17 in the rear. The 245-275 would be the same overall diameter with the tires I have now and the 235-255 would be just slightly smaller. I have removed the quad shocks in the read and added a coil-over setup so there is more room than stock. My question is will the 275s fit on the rear or will I have rubbing problems?
