I just bought some new rims and now it's time to get some tires so I was wondering what would be a good tire for a daily driven coupe that will see limited track time going through the twisties. Plus it wouldn't hurt if they didn't cost too much.

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE960 Pole Positions and i think theyre pretty good. I go in the snow, sleet, rain, etc...The dry traction is comparable to what i had with the old KDWSs, but wet weather is better. Id buy KDWSs or KDWs again though.

I think they were about $200/tire.

I've been through 3 sets of BFG G-Force Sports now, and I really like them. Its a summer only tire (I once got stuck in the parking lot with .5" of snow), but they hook great and are pretty cheap. I read somewhere that a professional racing school exclusively uses these tires, but I can't remember now which one.
