Anyone planning on watching this fight this weekend? I'm probably gonna hit up a local wings joint to watch it with some buds.

I predict and hope that Forrest slaughters Tito. Don't know why, but I've never liked Tito much.

Yeah, I will be. Have several friends that always come over and watch the PPV's and we're also Fantasy UFC nerds. I actually won the grand prize and misc stuff from UFC 103. Still hasn't shown up yet though...grrr.

I'm kinda torn on this one. Tito can get annoying, but he's always cool to his fans. Seems to be an act to me....which several others do as well. Both have something to prove. Tito wants to prove he still has it, and FG wants to prove himself after the Silva azz whoopin. I think it should be a heck of a fight. I'd like to see Tito win, just because I like him - but I like FG too and won't be upset if he pulls it out. I'm thinking this one goes to a decision again and these guys bang it out like last time.

Also, I think that the Anthony Johnson fight is gonna be good also. That kid is deadly.

If Tito is healthy I don't think Forest can stop him. The last fight Tito was ****ing about Forest greasing his legs. Forest is cool and great for the sport but I think he got lucky when he beat Rampage for the title. He got owned by Rashad and then Silva. Maybe that will be good motivation for him to step it up and maybe he'll destroy Tito. Guess we'll find out Saturday!

In order for Forrest to redeem himself he better beat Tito's ass so bad that Tito runs out of the ring.

Like Forest did against Silva? :D

Regardless of what happens I think it should be a really good fight.

I read a post somewhere here that Forrest ran out of the ring after that fight, but I did'nt think he LITERALLY ran out of the ring after that fight. When I saw the repeat of that fight afew weeks ago on Spike I laughed my ass off when the fight was over. :rlaugh:

yes there were. For an average card there was definitely an above average matches.

Tito and Forest was a good fight. Forest worked hard on defending against Tito's ground and pound. IDK WTF Tito was thinking in the 3rd round or if he was just gassed that bad but he definitely only fought two rounds of that fight.

Amir Sadollah did a great job against Phil Baroni. He definitely proved he belongs in the UFC and showed he can really take a punch.

Little Nog really looked good too. Im anxious to see how he does in the light heavyweight division.

I was a little surprised that Josh "the sheep" Koscheck managed to beat Johnson but I was very impressed with him no matter how much I dislike him.

I'm not overly excited about it. As far as I'm concerned, Forrest won their last fight. He stood up, did the most work between the two of them and I'm certain threw the most punches, but lost to a bull**** decision. I have no desire to see that again.

We all know exactly how this is going to go. Forrest is going to win this time...controversially of course and then Dana White is going to cash in once again on a third round between them. This sport is becoming so predetermined and so predictable I've all but lost interested in it.

Nope....which I guess reaffirms my comments about not caring about it I guess. :D

I am curious to know if I was right though. Did Forrest win this round, setting it up for a third fight?

yeah he did. Tito didn't even fight the 3rd round though. Of course when the fight was over Forest wanted to fight him again, even though he won, just to settle it for the last time.

You get a cookie :cookie: :D

Dana Whites greed is running this sport into the ground. Turning it into another WWE IMO. :nonono:

They really need to go back to PPV fight every couple of months, instead of every 3 or 4 weeks like it has been the last couple of years. There's no down time for the fans to get "hungry" for an event and really appreciate when we get one. Instead we're left with a "ah well, missed this one...there will be another in a couple of weeks", and end up with a mediocre fight card. :nonono:

while I do agree with that to some extent there are also a lot more top quality fighters now and we'd only get to see a lot of those guys fight once every two years or so if there was only 1 PPV every 3 months or so. Dana does keep saying that he's trying to get a TV deal and then it sounds like maybe 1 out of 3 would be free. It would really main stream and if he only did the BIG fights on PPV it might help.

They do quite a few free ones on Spike these days. I kinda like them this frequently. Sure, they may not all be awesome fights, but sometimes the no name guys put on a better show. That last Couture vs. Vera fight was a snooze-fest. They just cuddled in the corner for 15 minutes. I'd rather see a no-name slug it out.
