I was wondering how very difficult it is to hook up pilar mounted a/f and boost gauges. I ordered the autometer gauges and a dual pod from my local auto place, getting it tomorrow. Has anyone had experience with this? I want it to look very clean and work right. Would I be better off having it professionally installed? What do you think this would set me back?

neither gauge is that difficult when you break it down. for the boost gauge, you just need to T it into the vaccum line and get a power source for the light. for the a/f ratio gauge, don't bother with it unless you have a wideband O2 sensor. the stock O2 sensors are only accurate at stoich. but the intall for the gauge itself is pretty straight forward. it's just running wires for the most part.
