If you read my last 2 threads you should know what happened today but here you go with my missing water temp gauge since I gotta send it back for a electrical instead of mechanical, plus I had to reuse that gauge bezel since that other one didnt have the defroster hole cutout so talk about looking stupid till I get those 2 parts in to fix it but anyways here ya go.... OLD GAUGES I REPLACED PARTS IM WAITING ON ONCE I GET THAT BEZEL AND THAT *ELECTRICAL GAUGE* IT SHOULD COME TOGETHER WITH THESE SEATS and my photoshoped saleen wing lol since I gotta save up money to get it put on, its sitting in a shrine in my living room till the pretty spoiler can be unleashed lmao
and for the record, I was blinded all the way home, you cant dim the gauges but i can dim the instrument panel white face gauges, but it was pretty damn bright lol but i drove home in the country where no street lights were once i got in the city it was ok
Thats because you wired the gauges wrong. You need to tap the light power into the white/blue wire coming out of the headlight switch.
Dude you should invest in a tach mounting bracket so that thing doesn't become a projectile. Also to save your dash
What mounting bracket? It is mounted to the dash using a black plate that is attached to the bottom of the tachometer, Its not going anywhere its held down by 2 screws ]also I was just googling and found dimmer switches for LED gauges, wonder if I should do that instead of wire them up to headlight source
autometer dimmer switch $26.99 thats cheap and I wont have to use the headlight dimmer so i can keep my instrument cluster lights bright, I gotta get that piece cause I throught i was gonna get a tan off the gauges coming home lmao
Get rid of the big ass tach and use the stock one and it wont be so bright. I have 4 C2 gauges in my car and its not too bright.
