I couldn't find anything about this company's superchargers. I was wondering does anyone have any experience with this company?

I swear it was just yesterday I clicked a link someone posted here for their site.

IMO, doesnt look like a bad kit. 2 things though...not very familiar, and its an Eaton. For the price you would pay, you could have a MUCH more thermally efficient blower in a kit with a large reputation.

They make a kit so you can put an 03 cobra supercharger on a 2v, a cheap way to supercharge. Other than that I know nothing about them. Google them.

When you add it all up, you might as well just buy a KB.

That is the problem. I really don't want to deal with KB. I know every company has had some kind of customer service problem, but it seems like KB has a bad reputation for bad customer service and I just don't want to deal with that. Maybe someone has dealt with this new company.

Basing your supercharger selection on customer service is ridiculous. Bottom line is, KB's are very reliable and have been around for years. In my opinion if you can't install one with out the help of some shmoe on a hot line, you shouldn't be driving a supercharged mustang :D

Wow. I hope you don't make all your descisions with this kind of logic, because I really feel sorry for you. I would hope that when people spend large amounts of money that they would take in consideration customer service. Do you normally purchase items over $3,000 without any regard for customer service or at least the vendor's reputation.

I would hope that after I received the supercharger that I would never have to talk to the company again, but if I did have a problem, I would want the assurance that the company would be willing to bend over backwards for a customer that just spent several thousands dollars with them.

How do you figure? The Tork Tech kit was the brain child of FAST Secialties and Charles from Magnum Powers who's I shouldn't need to tell you has one of the best reps for putting out a quality product in the industry. As such, the kit utilizes a 5th Generation 4-loeb Magnum Powers M112 that's more than capable of running head to head with a 2.1L Kenne Bell twin screw. Add the fact that the Tork Tech comes standard with 42lb/hr injectors and a high flow fuel pump (Kenne Bell supplies their kits with 36lb/hr injectors and boost-a-pump band-aid...but has the 42's as an option for another $350).

The Tork Tech kit also comes standard with a large bore single blade oval throttle body, high flow intake tube and a 90mm Mass Air Meter with a shielded open element filter. Kenne Bell wants an additional $812.00 for the "big tube" kit, that includes switch chip upgrade, large diameter intake tube, throttle body and Mass air upgrade + another $153 for the cold air kit. The intake system is also only available with a maximum 75mm standard round bore throttle set up).

The Tork Tech kit comes with a heavier duty intercooler and heat exchanger, which (unless you want to run race gas in the tank and insane amounts of timing to make big dyno numbers like Kenne Bell does when testing their systems....)certainly comes in handy when trying to keep things pump gas friendly when swapping out pulleys for additional boost later on down the road.

Top it off with the fact that the Tork Tech comes standard with an 8-rib supercharger drive system (a $399 option with Kenne Bell) and I really can't see how anyone would think the Kenne Bell is a better kit?

If the M112 isn't enough power for ya....no sweat. Just upgrad to the 600hp capable TVS 1900 for an extra $1,000 and you're good to go. Sure, Kenne Bell has the option for the 2.6L which lets be honest, doesn't make a whole lot more power than that, but you're paying over twice as much for the blower upgrad.....and it won't even clear the stock hood on top of that!

    Let's see what we've got???

    Kenne Bell Standard 9-14psi kit.......$4,999........................Tork Tech kit......................$4,499
Hood modification (not necessary)...........................$0.............................Hood modification (option).............$199
High flow intake kit (option) ....................................$812.........................High flow intake kit (std)................$0
Cold air intake (option)..........................................$153..........................Cold air intake (std)......................$0
    42lb/hr fuel injectors (option)..................................$350..........................42lb/hr fuel injectors(std)..............$0
Fuel pump upgrade (not an option)..........................$100..........................High Flow fuel pump (std)..............$0
    8-rib drive pulleys (option)......................................$399.........................8-rib drive pulleys (std).................$0

    Sub total............................................................$6,831.........................................................................$4,698

    2.6L Upgrade.......................................................$1,999.........................TVS 1900 Upgrade.......................$999

    GRAND TOTAL................................................. $8,812............................................................. $5,697

Hmmmmm......you tell me which of these two kits comes the better deal when you add it all up?

When I see something I like, that seems to have had a lot of thought put into it I really look into it. :D

Don't get me wrong, Kenne Bell still makes a great kit, but they’re horrible to deal with. That and so many people have been brainwashed by their propaganda into believing that Kenne Bell makes the only kit worth buying, because “if it's not a Twin Screw, it's a waste of time”, that they won't give anything else a second look.

It seems that based on continued testing of the Tork Tech system, it looks as though Kenne Bell might be the one playing second banana when this kit catches on and that having a twin screw under the hood doesn't automatically guarantee you superior torque and horsepower numbers anymore.

Just look at how the kit was view in the thread that 98blackstallion posted. A lot of negativity and naysayer at the beginning who saw nothing else in their skewed vision but “Kenne Bell Twin screw”.....but as the thread progressed and testing and real world results progressed along with it, the tide seems to have turned and eyes were opened. With some more exposure and some time for the results and word of mouth of this product to travel (such as it has over the years with Kenne Bell) this kit is going to be BIG amongst the 2V crowd.....you can mark my words! A better product, at a cheaper cost.....how can you go wrong?

My only regret(s) are that this kit wasn't available when I bought my Allen and they make no mention of it working on a '96-'98 GT. My guess is with the return style fuel rails, the right timing cover and proper hood clearance it won’t be an issue, but I guess time will tell.

I've been interested in the Tork Tech set up for a while and I'd preffer it to a Keen-Bell set-up...but it doesn't appear they have anything that's CARB certified :-/

I would like to see what it does on a car that is not affiliated with the company. Not thinking it will be bad, just curious.
