Here is my deal.I did not realize there was a proper way of installing the torque convertor.I know my bad there.Anyway I put the new flywheel on then bolted the convertor to the flywheel. Then picked the tranny up and slid it on the back and just wiggled it a little till the tranny touched the motor. Then I bolted it up and put it in the vehicle. Now when I got everything together the motor acts like it is locked up after I spun it over for about 2 seconds. Then when I went to spin it again it does not move..Cold the tranny be bound up from putting it in the wrong way?I just now read something about 3 step process on installing it.thx for any help

Yea you should have put the converteron the trans, In side the torque converter there is 3-4 (not sure on number) notches that the converter must slide up on that is done by holding it center on the trans and turning it should slide back on the shaft a couple of times. Hope it didnt hurt the tranny!
