My son just bought a 89 GT 5 speed with a 347 stroker with s/c. What should he now do to get the car to hook up or launch instead of putting on a smoke show?
Thanks

Hi , Justford, My biggest improvements over stock setup was Southside lower control arms(no more quad shock setup) and , subframe connectors(Welded in) . Beyond that don't have much advice to offer on traction issues. Surely, some others will have more ideas .
Control arms seem to give the greatest improvement. Depending on what your looking for you can spend 179.00 (UPR non adjustable uppers and lowers) on up. Unfortunately any short wheel based car with lots of torque is going to have problems with tire spin. Get used to the control arms and start tracking ways to launch without excessive wheel spin.
lol we told a buddy of ours to go get a can of compression from Canadian Tire when we were working on his truck.......he went and asked them for a can lol
