tranny ?

alright, i dont know what is going on. whenever i drive around in stop and go traffic (in and out of 1st) my tranny will start to stick in first gear. i mean, the shifter wont let me out of first gear unless im moving. and if i do rip it out of first i cant get it back into first without letting the clutch out a few times and wiggling the shifter around in neutral. it only does it every once in a while when im in traffic. any ideas?

when i had trouble getting in and out of gears in my old mustang i changed the clutch and problem went away so i would say it could be a clutch problem but i could be wrong

has the tranny ever been rebuilt? is the clutch quadrant OEM or aftermarket and is the cable worn? If the tranny has been rebuilt and whoever did it isnt experienced, on the main shaft where 2nd gear is you have to get both C clips locked down, if not after a while if will be so so so so dang hard to shift into 1st and 2nd. Mine did the same thing until 2nd gear blew apart because it was built wrong. Now i have a Tremec 3550 though

i dont know if it has ever been rebuilt. it has a new clutch and cable and quadrant. i wish i had the money for a new tranny
