    So i am having those Tremec3650 tranny issues...

    I want to get a T-56

    What would i need in order to mount it into my 01 GT?

    Clutch, bellhousing, cross member, drive shaft.

    Sounds about right. Check out D&D Performance. I believe they sell their swap kit for about $3800 with no clutch.

    Seems to be cheaper to make what you have with stronger parts. Why exactly the T-56

    T56 is cool, but it's really not worth it. I'd go for a tko trans so you can hammer on it. Getting a used t56 is a risk all on its own, an expensive risk. Cheapest I've seen those trans go for is around 2k, a lot money, also factor in an adjustable clutch cable, along with all the other odds and ends.

    right now it's a pretty stock 4.6
    Ram air intake, flowmaster, and H-pipe
    maybe 280? (being generous)

    Just want something better than the garbo' 3650
    i'm lucky if i can even get INTO 3rd even if i baby it... :bang:

    was looking at the D&D 3650 rebuild kit, is it worth it? or is better to just get a new tranny?
