I see most shifting in the 5,800-6,000 RPM range:nice:

A friend of mine had the combination, and had good results hitting in between that mark with his track heat heads. Any more and it seemed to flatten out.

Retarding is an option:)

I prefer long runner intakes to help promote torque lower in the rpm band for a true street driven ride. Since the 5.090" rod is a shorter rod, it needs a little bit more runner volume. That is what that street heat provides with with:nice: 15.00" + 1.00":nice:

Stroker combinations utilize longer rods, therefore need less runner volume. That take-in more air. You made a good choice in my opinion.

Try different rpm at the track, car's react a bit different, because of subtle differences. You may find, 5,700 works for you, or 6,100 works for you. It is all in trial and error:)
