Trying to install a aftermarket radio..

Im trying to install a radio in my 1964 after a year of hearing the motor roar on the freeways and streets!:D:D:nice:

So now im trying to install a pioneer stereo and some 6x9 in the rear. I have kinda an idea on how to install it but i would like to do it once and do it right..

Where can I get constant power from? the solenoid or directly from the battery? Can I get it from the hot wire on my ignition? Can I get power from the old radio cable? If so which one is it? Diagram?

Thanks in advance :hail2::hail2::hail2::hail2::hail2:

The constant is just that, make sure its live with 12v all the time. This keeps the station and settings when the car is off. (Straight to battery preferably)

Theres a second power wire...That goes to the ignition (only has 12v when key is clicked forward)

Hope that helps.
