Tumbler or starter?

Lately when i go to start the car i have to turn the key ALL the way and then a little extra for it to crank. Today i turned it all the way and it didnt crank... did it again and it fired up You think my starter is on its way out or the the actual tumbler where the key fits needs replacement?

Honestly I am pretty sure it is the tumbler itself.... but don't hold me to that... just my guess!!
