I tried searching but it doesn't like to search for a word with only 2 letters.

Anyway just wondering. The best 0-60 i've "gteched" was 6.90sec. It seems to shift out of 1st a little early or maybe my tach is a few rpms behind. I've never had an auto sports car, only sticks. Does turning the OD off do anything for the shifting?

BTW, Mine is a convertible.

i used to have an 89 GT auto.....all the o/d button did was lock out o/d, nothing else. i would use it around town especially if i was going down hills and stuff so i would have to constantly be on the brakes. plus it sounds better in 3rd!!

No, it wont make a diference in ET's, but itll help save your tranny, if you turn the o/d off before you let er rip. You never wana go into overdrive at WOT, specially with high h/p, since the o/b isnt as strong as the 1st-3rd. For cruising around town, 25-45mph i leave the o/d off, car sounds better in 3rd.
