i will try and get pics up tonight, as yesterday i left my camera card in my computer.
so i'm having an issue hooking up the vacuum lines to the typhoon intake i am swapping over to.
now the typhoon has 2 - 3/8 ports which i have 3/8 barbs on
and 2 - 1/8 ports which i have put 1/4 barbs on. ( using 1/8 to 1/4 fittings)
now i know the PCV valve uses 2 - 3/8 vacuum sources, which pretty much uses the 2 that i have on the intake. so now i have a problem with the line that feeds the vacuum tree. i don't see reducing it to a 1/4 will feed enough for the important things like brakes and the other things on that tree.
so would i see a problem if i use one of the 1/4 barbs on the small ports to feed the PCV along with one 3/8 ports? so i could use the other 3/8 ports for the vac tree. Or does the PCV need the 2 big feeds?
if it doesn't make sense it will once i get a pic up.
Or if someone has a typhoon intake and would be nice enough to post a pic with what fitting you used. that would help out alot.
Thanks
joe
