Just had a '87 5.0 engine built for my '66 FB. World product Windsor Jr. 58cc heads, Crane H-260-2 flat tappet cam, Comp 1.6 roller rockers, 9.8:1 compression. When I picked-up the motor, I was expecting to see an Edel Performer RPM manifold. Instead, a Professional Products Typhoon Power+Plus was installed. What!? Builder told me it was a better match for the heads. Anyone have experience with this manifold?... looks totally non-descript. Manifold paperwork suggests a Holley 750, Edel 600 or 750. (Don't know how they can suggest anything without knowing the bottom-end motor specs.) Jon @ Pony Carbs always maintains that motors are WAY over-carburated, suggesting a 1.12 Autolite (HiPo size). That would cost some bucks. Looking for thoughts and experiences with Edelbrocks or Holleys on a massaged 302.
Thanks.
