Has anyone had their car undercoated for noise reduction? If so, how much did it help, what did you use, did you have a shop do it, and what all is involved?

I bought a can of professional undercoat from Advance Auto, but I haven't even sprayed it yet to see what it looks like. It was cheap, and I figurd it couldn't hurt.

I assume you have to spray around all the piping underneath. What's best to cover it all up with? Or is this how it's done?

Thanks. If anyone knows of better exhaust/road noise delte options, please let me know. I'm wanting to make my car pretty quiet on the inside, but keep the outside roaring loud. :nice:

I wouldn't do that, you will more than likely be very dissapointed with the results. If you want noise reduction go with Dynamat or one of the similar brands. It will do a much better job of dampening road noise.

There are several brands out there, I just happen to prefer Dynamat.
