My sister got me the UPR polished billet fueldoor for my 1990 foxbody mustang. Looks nice and the instructions make it look real easy, however, I do have some questions for anyone here who may have installed one on their foxbody or someone elses car recently.

The UPR instructions state that a 5/16 drill bit may need to be used to widen the lower hole that houses the lower rubber bumper. Was this necessarily the case or did your's fit without the need to drill?

Secondly, I find that the nylon locknuts are pretty darn tight just from playing around with the fuel door in my hands. Did you guys experience the same or did your locknuts fit/screw a little easier than mine? Did any of you have to go to the hardware store and get an entirely new set of locknut screws?

Thirdly, I noticed the door stays closed using a magnetic set up. My door's kind of a pain to open up with my fingers. Anyone else have this problem with their's?

Lastly, I noticed there's space between the door and the bezzle when closed. Will this be a problem when I'm washing my car????

    Thanks guys
