Hey Everyone i am back. Been doing the whole getting married thing and haven't had much time for anything. So here's the deal, my Stang got rear ended and I ended up having the whole thing painted. Getting it back monday. I made some changes in the past few months, including:
Roush Insert in rear Bumper (Black)
    Pypes Dual Exhaust
C- Stripes from Graphics Express replaced the generic mustang stripes
a set of 4 Goodyear Assurance Triple Treads
    Some more interior billet bling.

Good to see this forum is still alive, barely, but still alive

I drove a rental Taurus once, while I was having my front end re-painted from thousands of rock chips. It was sooooo boring. It had no character whatsoever, like driving a rubbermaid appliance on wheels. I ended up taking it back after one day and trading it for a Pontiac G6... yeah, yeah, GM, I know, but at least it's American.. at least that car had a little get-up-and-go. Hopefully the new style Taurus is a lot better.

For those of you who have not had the experience of a Taurus, imagine if someone used plain toothpaste as an inspiration for a car. That's the result

As the "great" uncle bill clinton once said, " I feel your pain!" :p The shop that did mine did a bad job, though. Inside the doorjambs was all hazy, like it hadn't been buffed out. I'm never going to them again.

Well guys, my car went into clear coat today. This has ended up wiping out my entire car budget for the year, so my plans became long term due to a minor fender bender. A millisecond can change everything. But the car looks awesome, and i will be getting it back after the holiday. Looks like we're getting a cruise from Chicago to Cincinnati going next weekend. Anyone interested?

Damn, they fixed a quarter panel hit?!!

My car got totalled because of that.

It's a huge fix because a damaged quarter panel surprisingly compromises a lot of the structural integrity of the car. Also I needed a new axel and two new airbags, so that probably played a part in it.
I loved my V6, but if it hadn't been totalled, I never would have gotten as much money for it as I got our of the insurance pay-off. They gave me WAY more than I thought it was worth.:nice:

Well, not exactly.. my car was not hit by another vehicle. I was turning into a parking structure and a yellow pole jumped out and scraped the side of my car pretty good. So it was just very bad cosmetic damage, not structural damage.
