V6 T5 in a '94-'95 V8 Stang

Has anyone every tried a '96 or later V6 T5 in their GT/Cobra? I heard from someone at Tremec that in '96, the V6 got more power and Tremec sold Ford on the idea of offering the '95 V8 gearset in the '96 and later V6 transmissions.

Has anyone tried it or is there a ratio/capacity chart that goes past '95?
