    Nice run from the GT500. I'd expect better, with as much power as it has, but that's just me being a PITA. :D I think the blue on the sides was painters tape, so the rubber would peel off. :shrug:

    Why do you guy's think the time's are'nt better with the GT500. Is it the weight, tire size or what?

    MMF&F ran their 2010 to a 11.95 at 120 on stock tires. With m/t et streets ran 11.59 at 118. Not bad!

    yea i think the tires/drivers are the biggest issue..trapping 116-120 is enough speed to run well into the 11's, just gotta get them off the line.

    Yes, that was rubber on the sides of the vehicle so rubber didn't get up all over the fenders.

    I'd say that those times would probably be normal for new GT500 with traction. They're heavy cars.
