VMOA 29th Annual Car Show-June 17th Sponsored by Apex Motorsports Over 200+ cars on display! At the Apex Grand Opening Car Show last year we announced plans for a much larger show for 2006. I am now proud to announce that Apex Motorsports has teamed up with the VMOA (Vintage Mustang Owners Association) to bring you one of the largest Mustang & Ford performance based shows in California EVER! The VMOA is one of the oldest, established in 1971, and largest Mustang car clubs in Northern California with over 100 paid members. In 2005 Apex Motorsports had over 100 Mustangs at their Grand Opening/ Spring Car Show, including one of the largest gatherings of Saleen Mustangs in the country! The VMOA on the other hand had over 135 Mustangs making both shows some of the largest gatherings of Mustangs for any shows on the West Coast in 2005. Registration for 2006 is expected to easily exceed 200 vehicles! For 2006 things get even better as the VMOA and Apex have combined their resources to bring you expanded classes, with 34 classes and over 100 trophies! A special Trophy and a Dyno Day provided by Apex Motorsports will also be given to the club which has the largest registered participation in the show. Other cool trophies including the long distance award, which will be given to the individual and car which made the longest trip to attend the show. On display will be some of the rarest Mustangs and Ford Powered vehicles ever produced to include 1966 Shelby GT500KR, Detomaso Pantera GTS, 1996 Saleen S-351R, 2000 Cobra R, 2005 Ford GT, 55 Thunderbird, Mark Martin Nascar T-Bird and much more! There will also be a car corral for anyone looking to purchase or sell their vehicles. Apex will have a special Performance Corral with Manufacturer Reps available to answer all your questions. Manufacturer Representatives who will be attending include Saleen, Amsoil, Griggs, and others who will be added shortly. Registration is open to all years Mustangs and most Ford Powered Vehicles. Registration is $30 with a free commemorative T-Shirt included.
