  1. It is hard to appreciate the difference in pictures. The old paint was hardly white anymore because of all the dirt and metal particles on it. Take my word for it, the garage looks and feels much better now :)

  2. Delicious... Like a newly renovated house. Not like a sweat shop anymore.

  3. Do you have any air freseheners in there hahah

  4. that little Indonesian kid will really like the improvement though he might not feel at home.

  5. Ding Pao I thought was being contracted out nxt door - with this new garage - Scott can maybe get him back? - maybe an extra bowl of rice once a week - a few trips to the good will and Ding Pao will never be happier -Scott - here's your chance -

......thanks for the info on the G2 - I mean G14/18 special secert paint

ry94stang50 and David Pepiton like this.
  6. He is plenty happy where he is now. My garage is clean, so I no longer need his services. He was more trouble than he was worth anyway.

  7. OK I need to know who or what is ding Pao?

  8. Ding Pao was my little Indonesian laborer that was responsible for keeping my garage clean during the build. He lived in my basement and was paid a cool $.50/day to keep the garage in tip-top shape. He is the reason why the floor is spotless in so many of my pictures.

Unfortunately, Ding started slacking off and I was forced to take pictures like these:

Not only were his garage duties becoming sub-par, he was constantly getting stuck in my sump pump in the basement. Sure, I may have told him it was a water fountain, but he could have waited until the next rain to drink out of it instead of trying to sip water from the very bottom. I also caught him eating my dog's food numerous times. Needless to say, I had to let him go. Don't worry though, he is gainfully employed by my neighbor for a whopping $1.50 a day to keep his BMW clean. I can handle the garage cleanup from now on.

    hahahahahahaha....:rlaugh:

  10. So my OCD kicked in again, and I decided that I no longer liked all the red/blue AN fittings that I purchased for the car. Black fittings and silver lines would look much cleaner. That being said...I will be selling a bunch of brand new AN fittings from -6 up to -16.

  11. Damn I've done that before thought I wanted to do chrome but decided black accessories would be way better

  12. What a coincidence! I'll be needing some heavily discounted AN fittings, LOL

  13. Taking sloppy seconds to a whole new level huh?

  14. Well I figure that even though garden hose is roughly -10 AN size, it might be frowned upon at the tech inspection when used in conjunction with worm clamps.

  15. Who said anything about the fittings being heavily discounted? ;)

  16. Wishful thinking, maybe?

You could even consider donating them to the needy cause and writing them off. It is tax day, ya know :stick:

Oh I got the brake parts a while back. Works for me, thanks! :D

  17. FYI, oven cleaner removes the anodizing from the fittings and leaves them with a cool chrome finish. My opinion, keep the fittings, clean them with oven cleaner and get the russel black pro classic hose!
