I'm in need of the shorter Kenne Bell drive snout for the 94/95 mustang and am willing to buy yours outright or trade mine which is for the Fox Mustang and polished.
Are they interchangable? I just purchased a 2.1 from a friend of mine that was running it on his 94 GT. I assumed they were the same and was going to bolt it on this weekend. I may be in for a surprise.
Yes the snout will fit I've seen a guy who used a 94/95 snout from a 2.2 on the new Big bore case which is the 2.1, 2.6 and 2.8L
Whoa! Tell me more. I'd considered the viability of trying to retrofit a Fox snout to one of their newer liquid cooled units.
Sounds like I may need to swap snouts with you then, if you still need one. What is the model of your unit?
Just made a call to Kenne Bell this morning. According to them the 94-95 unit and the 86-93 units are very much different. When I asked them what needed to be changed to make this fit a fox body they gave me an expensive list of both manifolds, snout, brackets, etc. Yikes! I made the mistake and purchased the 94-95 kit from a local seller and did not check the fitment properly. Now I'm stuck with reselling it. 92ROCHP you may want to verify your complete unit isn't for the 86-93 stangs. Hope this helps. Good luck. Ebay and I have a date.
