Warped brake pads

I decided to change out the brake pads and turn the rotors on my 2000 GT since my steering wheel started to wobble while braking. I noticed that the drivers side front brake pad was warped kind of bad. Was this caused by a warped rotor? Could there be a problem with the caliper such as a stuck piston? Has anyone had problems with the plastic pistons that 99+ stangs have?

Check that the sliding pin on the caliper carrier is moving freely with absolutley no restriction. That pin is critical to the proper operation of the caliper and is the reason my old rotors got thrashed. if the rotor isn't glazed, make sure everything is in proper working order and get some new pads.

Well when using a c clamp or something to re compress the caliper to put it back on you should have noticed a substancial difference in pressure while trying to get that one back in but a warped rotor can screw up a pad pretty badly
