water pump by-pass cap/plug

dont have heater hose lines, so the second port on the waterpump is plugged. use a rubber endcap that comes in an assortment in the help asile at checker. the things are garbge though, always split after a month or 2. So anyone know where to get a higher quality 1/2" rubber endcap?

heat up the pump and pull the fitting out. then put a freeze plug in.

another way to do it is to tap it for a 1/2" NPT plug
