Ever time my garage door opens it leaks water on the back quarter of my stang when it is raining. Are there any problems that will occur from this? The paint doesn’t have a clear coat and hasn't been polished for a few years. Will it start rusting underneath the paint? Water might sit on the rear deck lid lip for weeks at a time. My last garage door didn't do this.

I would definitly put a tarp or something over that car. Sitting water + Classic car = disaster in the long run.
