I've been thinking about putting some 40 series flowmaster mufflers on my 2000 GT (100% stock). Does anyone know a shop in the dallas/garland area that could do a quality job welding flows onto the stock catback? Also, how much gain in sound should I expect with the stock H pipe in place? I plan on upgrading the midpipe later on but I want to throw on the flows now. Thanks guys.

1. You might have better luck posting this in the appropriate regional forum on this site. :)

2. You won't get a tremendous amount of volume increase; mostly just intonation. It will sound better, but not great, mind you.

3. You're doing what I did. I welded in some Flowmasters and did the off-road H pipe the next Spring.

personally I wish I could go back in time. Weld ins was the worst mod ever. I wanted sound and didn't think I'd be modding that much right away... In all honesty its probly best just to save up for a catback. My weld in flows added some SotP TQ for sure, but my catback makes me happier.
