well about all of yall know my situation that im in and ill be needing a car soon. well i was planing on gettin another 5.0 but thing have kinda change. No im not gettin another civic(**** them LOL) I have a 1990 Beretta GT 3.1 auto sittin in my back yard that is wreck from when i was 17. The car is a lil rough but i figured i would fix it cause i thought about it and decided i dont want to step back into a 220rwhp car right off the bat i want to take my time plus my neck prolly wont do so good gettin slammed into the seat through all gears The car is wrecked and need minor work on the front so i order a body kit for it that i wanted when i was 17(LOL), painting it a slightly dark metallic blue, and getting 18" wheels. If i say so myself it will look great. Might be a lil ricey to some people but i like it.(pics of stuff below) all together i figure i will have 2k or so in body kit, paint, wheels/tires, and body work cause a family friends is doing it. If everything goes well ill buy another 5.0 with the next couple years or so and do a GTP SC'ed 3.8 engine swap into the beretta(done looked into it) Yall are like family to me all comments are welcome good or bad! Oh i go bad to the doctor on the 4 and possibly get the halo off!!! Ill make another thread after the visit and let yall know!!! now for the pics of the stuff the body kit the wheels the paint
for some reason, i've always like berettas, (probally because the have the same basic shape as a mn12 tbird) so i'd say go with the beretta. just as long as you swap in s/c3.8 that body kit looks OK, i wouldnt put the wing on it. and i like the wheels
Id rather put money into a car worth putting money into. A '90 Beretta is worth about $500 in good condition.

I dont even think my neck can handle getting jarred from a mustang right now Yeah i bought a civic "SUE ME FOR GOING FROM A 13MPG MUSTANG TO A 35MPG CIVIC" I needed a car at the time cause i was starting work and there wasnt a decent mustang around here that was in my price range.
Each to his own, but I could picture that at the county fair in the rice eating contest. It even has an anal recptor fact can. I'd get hit by it before I'd drive it. But again, if you want it, go for it. I was just giving my opinion, after all it is a poll.
Ok... here's my point blank commentary on the pictures above and ONLY the pictures above. The body kit is a freakin nightmare (bumper cover looks bad from all angles and the rear valance will look bad for everything except for a dual exhaust). The wing is also a nightmare. The wing is a nightmare. The Euro tails are a nightmare. The fart can is a nightmare. The wheels look ok (hard to go wrong with Anthricite). I think the paint will be awesome. I like the side pieces for the body kit. You forgot to put a "WTF!!!" option in the poll and yeah... I wish were a Mustang that you were getting but I also understand your situation and you gotta do what you gotta do. 220 RWHP out of one of those cars is def nothing to sneeze at. I'm anxious to see what the final product looks like and what you do to it.
All of that is a big nono. Just drive the car how it is until you can get a stang or some other toy worthy of your money, don't waste it on that junk. If you really can't stand the bad paint and body on the beretta, shaker can it.
Actually your wrong, I do like mustangs but I also like alot of other things such as camaro's, firebirds, corvettes, lightnings, thunderbirds, chevelles, novas, panteras, cobras etc. People dont like mustang owners because 1) they do burnouts EVERYWHERE, places where they could put people in danger 2) they drive fast in places where they could put other people in danger 3) their **** dont stink and they have the fastest car around. Guess what, I dont do any of that crap. I just dont like the type of thing you are looking to do plain and simple, you asked for our comments "Yall are like family to me all comments are welcome good or bad" so you got them. Post the same thing on any american car forum, you'll get the same results. Just fix the berretta with stock parts and save for a mustang if you only make that much money that is what I would do in your situation.
well i didnt like the ricer comment thats y. im not a ricer. actually the car isnt even an import. mustang are my fav car i just cant find one at the price range right now i im doing this. the car with have dual exhaust(no fart cans) no huge gay looking wing and it will have stock tails with the lenses removes for the clear tails with read bulb covers. I think most people might change thier mind when they see it. Im really not a huge fan of the invader front. most beretta body kits use the stock front with an add on it stil look stupid. i might sell the front to get another bumper(IDK yet tho) the car should be done with in the next month and a 1/2 or so. ill post pics when done to let yall se the final product
no im not going to shaker can it. this was my first car and this is the plans i had for it when i got it. not im actually going to have time to do it. ill have another mustang before long. i want an 86 or older 5.0 and change out the interior to the 87-93. but every 86 older 5.0 around here is either modded out the ass or beat to hell and would have to do alot of work to it. more then im doing to the beretta
I know its a domestic, but FWD+Body Kit+Altezzas=Rice, no matter where it was built. Leave it the way it is, why dump good$ into a POS that will never be anything more??
damn rice this rice that. i guess its all rice. people add body kits and euros to mustangs and its not consider rice to most of yall. Im not going to have altezza tails. thier just gonna be clear lense talil with red bulbs to stay legal. not chrome in them. I hate altezza's. i guess its just rice cause it FWD at least its not a 4cyl POS huh the car was quick but not 5.0 quick. i seen 120+ in it several times
